Doughty Hanson has opened a new food court at its Broad Street Mall in Reading as part of a£6 million refurbishment.
The newly refurbished food court, Food on First, features four new branded catering operators: Burger King in 2,175 sq ft (200 sq m); Spud U Like in 1,760 sq ft (165 sq m); Villa Pizza in 1,700 sq ft (160 sq m); and coffee and snack bar Hungry? in 1,115 sq ft (105 sq m).
The refurbishment at the 400,000 sq ft (37,175 sq m) centre has also created a new 30,000 sq ft (2,800 sq m) lower-ground-floor unit - which has become the largest space available in Reading. In addition, a new 12,000 sq ft (1,150 sq m) unit adjacent to Argos is under offer to a leading national retailer.
The letting agent is Blair Kirkman, while DTZ Debenham Tie Leung ACR is the managing agent.
