Property news - LK Bennett to launch spin-off at Portsmouth

Footwear and accessories retailer LK Bennett is to open its first diffusion store, called LKB, at Land Securities' Gunwharf Quays development in Portsmouth.

The retailer has taken a 2,680 sq ft (250 sq m) unit for its shop in the new Canalside development.

In addition, LK Bennett has taken 2,960 sq ft (275 sq m) of A1 retail space for an outlet store for its eponymous brand.

LK Bennett chief executive Linda Bennett said: 'LKB is the ideal product for us to launch within a factory outlet scheme, because it maintains the LK Bennett brand name and quality, while keeping in line with factory outlet pricing.'
