Larrik Property has unveiled plans for its£30 million mixed-use scheme on Jubilee Street in the North Laines district of Brighton. Detailed consent has been granted for the 250,000 sq ft (23,225 sq m) development, which includes 40,000 sq ft (3,715 sq m) of retail and leisure space, 13,000 sq ft (1,205 sq m) of offices and 57 residential units. It forms part of a larger PFI scheme that will include a new town square, public library and a 94-room boutique hotel. The library will open by the end of next year. Construction work on the remainder of the project will start next spring, with completion expected in 2005. Blair Kirkman and Morgan Williams are the letting agents.
