Aberdeen Property Investors' redevelopment of two Covent Garden buildings at 10 and 12 King Street, London, has been entirely pre-sold prior to completion of the scheme. The development provided a 2,000 sq ft (185 sq m) retail unit on the ground floor and basement, which has been pre-let to Clinton Cards on a 15-year lease at£210,000 a year. The upper floors have been converted into 13 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, which sold for as much as£725,000 each.
