Property news - Banbury's Castle Quay approaches capacity with a raft of lettings and upsizings

PillarCaisse has achieved 10 new signings in the past 12 months at its Castle Quay shopping centre at Banbury, Oxfordshire, and the 34,850 sq m scheme is now nearly fully let.

The anchor tenants, Debenhams, Bhs, Marks & Spencer and Woolworths, have been joined by a range of retailers new to the town, including Wallis, Barratts, Discovery Store, Fragrance Shop, Julian Graves, Tchibo and Yogen Fruz.

Clinton Cards and jeweller H Samuel have relocated to the Quay Mall, and Vodafone has upsized to 80 sq m.

Charlie Palmer, partner at letting agent Knight Frank, said Castle Quay is making significant inroads into its outer-lying catchment areas. Jackson Criss is the joint letting agent.
