Poundland has extended its food staples offer to include milk and sugar.
The single-price retailer will sell sugar in all of its stores nationwide and is this week trialling milk, which it will roll out to all its stores if the trial is successful.
Last year Poundland introduced eggs to some stores alongside its other fresh food such as sandwiches.
Poundland said: “Poundland sells a number of staple products including tea and coffee at an amazing price point of just£1, and the introduction of a 1.5kg bag of sugar simply extends the range."
