Value clothing retailer sees profits dive
Pilot Clothing has turned a profit on ordinary activities before tax of£2.2 million in 2002 into a loss of£349,455 in the last reported financial year. Operating profit for the year to January 31, 2004 remained in the black, but was reduced to£119,073 from£2.3 million the year before. Turnover however, increased over the period, from£53.7 million to£55.4 million.
