Planning applications lodged for Stoke-on-Trent development anchored by JJB Sports
Dransfield Properties has lodged a planning application with Stoke-on-Trent city council for phase four of its Tunstall East regeneration scheme.

JJB Sports has signed up to take a 22,500 sq ft (2,090 sq m) unit for its Health & Fitness format, which houses a fully equipped gym and swimming pool on the ground floor, with a first-floor shop. As well as JJB's unit, the development will provide a further 60,000 sq ft (5,575 sq m) of retail space and a 25,000 sq ft (2,325 sq m) health centre.

The fourth phase of the development follows phase one, which provided a Matalan store in March last year. Phases two and three are being completed simultaneously at the moment. They include a 20,000 sq ft (1,860 sq m) Next store, as well as units for Pizza Hut, Shoefayre and Choices Video. One unit remains unlet.
