THG Studios, the creative agency part of THG Ingenuity, has appointed a new senior vice president to “spearhead growth”.
Richard Aldiss brings over 30 years of experience in advertising, as well as business development and agency growth.
He currently sits on the board of the (MPA) Manchester Publicity Association and champions the digital, creative and media industries.
THG Ingenuity said its Studios arm was set up to deliver “full funnel creative content to power digital brands and offer solutions for branding and strategy to 360-degree creative and social-first campaigns, packaging design, production at scale, videography, photography and set build.” It uses THG Ingenuity’s proprietary tech, data and user-research.
Aldiss’ appointment sees the THG Studios build on its growth in 2024, where it created campaigns for companies such as Asda and Disney, and launched its AI-driven studio, iLab.
Aldiss said: “The THG Studios team has achieved so much, it’s jaw-dropping. The ambition and potential for our clients, our people and the business is huge and I look forward to applying my experience, energy and passion as we enter an exciting new chapter of growth and transformation.”
THG Ingenuity chief brand and marketing officer Hannah Pym said: “We are delighted to welcome Richard to the team. His experience and leadership across advertising and business development, alongside his fervour for the industry, align perfectly with our commitment to supercharge brand growth for our clients and our long-term vision for THG Studios.”
