The Body Shop has hired former Planet Organic commercial director Linda Campbell as its retail director.

Campbell had been with Planet Organic for almost three-and-a-half years. Before that she was the UK retail director for cosmetics retailer Space NK.

Grocer Planet Organic last month unveiled a new store design at its shop in Wandsworth, south London, which featured revamped tills, a coffee shop and a health and bodycare offer.

The Body Shop could not be reached for comment.
