Retail headhunter Sue Shipley has founded her own international recruitment business, SVS Executive Search.

Sue Shipley has set up her own headhunting firm

Shipley’s business is aimed at an international client base including listed companies, brands, private equity funds and independent or family-owned business.

During her time as a retail headhunter, Shipley has made senior-level appointments within retailers including Primark, Home Retail Group, TKMaxx, SuperDry and Jacques Vert.

Prior to become a headhunter Shipley held leadership roles at Kingfisher, Asda Walmart, Boots and Dixons.

Shipley has over 15 years’ experience of retail headhunting, which include leading the global retail practice at Odgers Berndtson.

Latterly she ran The Miles Partnership’s retail operation, which she left last June after two-and-a-half years at the company.
