Selfridges marketing director Sally Scott is to leave the department store business.

Scott, who has worked at Selfridges for six years and prior to that at Canadian department store chain Holt Renfrew for six years, will leave at the end of June. It is not known where Scott is going to.

Both department stores are owned by Selfridges Group, which is backed by Canadian billionaires the Weston family.

Selfridges has started a recruitment process to find her replacement. It is also recruiting a director of womenswear and kidswear after Anita Barr left the role to return to her roots this week to head up menswear. Barr joined Selfridges in 2000 as senior buyer of men’s contemporary for Spirit.
