Sainsbury’s new chief excecutive Mike Coupe was in for a rude awakening after a staff member mistook him for Justin King.
New Sainsbury’s boss Mike Coupe has been touring the country, visiting stores since taking over as chief executive of the grocer.
He also hosted a special dinner for members of staff who had been with the business for more than 25 years.
He must have been delighted when one store colleague said she was so happy to be at the dinner because she had waited 25 years to meet ‘Justin King’.
It seems she’ll be waiting for a little while longer…
