Move over Britain’s Got Talent, retail now has its very own version of the hit TV variety programme.

This week the industry charity Retail Trust launched its own campaign, Search for a Star, supported by retail leaders including Harold Tillman, John King and Nick Robertson, which will audition accomplished people from across retail to find the sector’s most talented star.

Auditions will be held at Manchester’s Arndale Centre and at Lakeside in September, with the four finalists battling it out to become the overall winner at the Retail Trust Ball next January. More details can be found at
