New Look has appointed Tesco director Mike Iddon as its chief financial officer.
New Look’s interim chief financial officer Richard Collyer will stay in the role until Iddon, Tesco’s group finance director for planning, treasury and tax, joins the fashion retailer.
New Look chief executive Anders Kristiansen said: “Mike brings with him an excellent track record and also a highly valuable breadth and depth of experience of the retail sector.”
Iddon has had a 13-year career at Tesco and before his current role he was the UK finance director and a member of the UK leadership team from 2009 to 2012. He has always also held the roles of finance director in Tesco South Korea, group property finance director and non-food finance director. He has also worked at Kingfisher and Whitbread.
Iddon said: “I am very excited to be joining New Look at this pivotal point in its story, as it looks to consolidate its impressive achievements in the last two years and focus on its next phase of growth – both in the UK and internationally.”
