Net-a-Porter’s chief executive Sven Gaede has resigned less than six months after joining the business.

In a statement, Net-a-Porter said: “During his short time at Net-a-Porter, Sven Gaede has made several valuable contributions in the areas of merchandising, strategy and marketing. However, for personal reasons Sven has sadly tendered his resignation to the board and this has been accepted.”

Chairman Natalie Massenet and chief operating officer Mark Sebba will take on Gaede’s responsibilities until a successor is found.
