The ecommerce greeting cards player said that Autotrader chief operating officer Catherine Faiers would take over the role in “due course”.

Faiers was previously chief ooperating officer at taxi and courier company Addison Lee and has also held senior roles at Trainline and Close Brothers Corporate Finance. Her gross annual salary will be £570,000, with a bonus opportunity of 150% of base.

She takes over from Nickyl Raithatha, who has led Moonpig for seven years. The company said it would be announcing the timing of the transition at a later stage.

“I’m excited to be joining Moonpig Group, a business with a clear purpose, a strong platform and an exciting future,” said Faiers in a statement released alongside the news. “The Group has transformed the way people connect and celebrate through technology and creativity.”

Non-executive chair Kate Swann said that Faiers brought “a wealth of experience in ecommerce and public companies, with a proven track record of leading customer-focused digital, data, and technology transformations.”

In a trading update last month, Moonpig said that trading under its titular brand was growing at approximately 10% year on year, while its Dutch brand Greetz had returned to year-over-year growth. It added that it expected a mid single-digit percentage rise in group adjusted EBITDA in its 2026 financial year.
