Fashion retailer Joules has poached its new chief financial officer from price comparison business Moneysupermarket to replace outgoing CFO Marc Dench.

The retailer said Caroline York would join Joules no later than September this year from Moneysupermarket where she is currently group finance director.

She is set to replace Marc Dench, who announced he would be stepping away from the retailer in January. Dench is set to leave on May 11 but “will remain available to the group in a consultancy capacity to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities to Caroline”.
