Peacocks is gearing up to open 30 stores in the new year, as it focuses on more prime locations.

Peacocks this month took three prime out-of-town units in Wales and one in Cheshire.

Using agency Mason & Partners, it has taken a 10,000 sq ft (930 sq m) site at Parc Trostre in Llanelli, a 7,700 sq ft (715 sq m) store at Newport Retail Park, a 6,000 sq ft (560 sq m) unit at Prestatyn Shopping Park and a 7,500 sq ft (695 sq m) site at the proposed Widnes Shopping Park.

Mason & Partners property manager Simon Anderson said: “This reflects that Peacocks can compete with any other fashion store on the high street.”
