Everyone's London to climax with street party on October 1
Oxford Street will host a celebratory street party on Saturday October 1 between 12 noon and 5pm to mark the culmination of the Everyone's London campaign, with shops open until 8pm.

Celebrate Oxford Street - Dress To Impress will feature retail-led events combining fashion, music, celebrity and street entertainment, with the main focus on fashion. There will be hourly draws giving away£1,000 shopping sprees on Oxford Street.

Charlotte Church will be holding a special performance and signing at Selfridges. There will also be performances from Rachel Stevens and Liberty X on the Heart stage and catwalks, makeovers, street performers and entertainment.

Oxford Street will be closed to traffic for the first time for the event.

Marks & Spencer chief executive Stuart Rose said: 'Saturday October 1 will remind people what's great about Oxford Street and London's shops. Everyone is working together to create a unique day's shopping with a special festive spirit. It's also M&S's 75th anniversary at Marble Arch and we're welcoming customers to our store to join in our celebrations.'
