Ocado has lined up former finance director of Reuters David Grigson as a senior non-executive director.

Grigson will help the grocer in its proposed IPO alongside chairman Michael Grade. Ocado is poised to appoint investment banks to advise on its float shortly.

Grigson was also previously finance director at Emap.

Ocado is thought to be pushing ahead with plans for its float, despite other companies, such as New Look, abandoning their plans for an IPO.
