Oasis launched an iPhone application this week to give customers easier access to its website content while they are on the move.

Customers can download the software to their iPhone from Apple’s App Store, or through the iTunes website.

The application provides updates on new products, a GPS store locator tool and access to the retailer’s online newsletter.

Using the application, customers can browse Oasis’s products even when their iPhone has no internet connection.

Another feature presents “must-have” items when customers shake their iPhone. Images from Oasis’s present campaigns can be viewed, and customers can recreate and buy the whole outfits presented.

Oasis managing director Sharon O’Connor said it is the first UK retailer to launch an iPhone application, which will create the “ultimate shopping experience”.
