Next has launched Next TV online to promote its fashion credentials to its web customers.

To coincide with the launch of its spring/summer 2009 range the online video broadcast features leading fashion editors looking at and commenting on the new ranges.

The first TV clips launched last week with input from journalists at Elle, Company, Prima and Now.

Future clips will include fashion tips for customers and will be updated weekly featuring different outfit ideas.

Next has focused on a more fashion conscious image since it launched its first TV advertising campaign in more than a decade in 2007. It also bought young-fashion brand Lipsy in October last year, which it hopes will add weight to its fashion credentials.
