Next rolls out new windows to its store estate

Next has just finished installing a new window system at its 365 UK and 45 overseas stores.

Created and installed by Leicestershire-based visual merchandising, design and manufacturing agency RMD, the scheme is modular and has been made from a combination of white injection-moulded plastic, powder-coated silver steel and laminated timber.

RMD creative director Andrew Redman said the system was designed to 'work around the divisions within the store: menswear, womenswear, homewares and kids'. He said Next and RMD worked together to ensure a smooth installation of the scheme.

RMD, which has worked with Next before on window schemes, won the contract following a pitch. Roll-out has taken four weeks.
