MySale offloads main UK website Cocosa
Australian etailer MySale has sold its Cocosa website to Brandalley.
The flash sales business, which counts Sir Philip Green and Mike Ashley among its investors, said the deal would net it £1.5m.
Cocosa.co.uk is MySale’s main trading website in the UK, the disposal of which ramps up the group’s focus on Australia and New Zealand.
In the year to June 2018, Cocosa suffered a pre-tax loss of A$400,000 (£214,700) on sales of A$15.7m (£8.4m).
MySale boss Carl Jackson said: “This disposal represents a key step in accelerating our ‘ANZ First’ strategy, which looks to optimise our scale, resources and market position in the region. With this more streamlined and focused approach, we can provide an improved offering for both our customers and brand partners.”
