Landsec to buy Gateshead’s Metrocentre in £500m deal
Property group Landsec has agreed to acquire the Metrocentre in Gateshead as part of its strategy to invest in “major retail destinations”.
Landsec chief executive Mark Allan said: “Growing our investment in major retail destinations remains our highest conviction call, given the high income yields and attractive income growth on offer for the right assets.
