Fashion anchors in place for 1 million sq ft development
New Look is the latest anchor tenant to sign up for Thornfield Properties'£100 million scheme to regenerate Feltham town centre in southwest London. The retailer will be taking an 8,000 sq ft (745 sq m) unit at the scheme, which is expected to be completed in summer 2006.

The 1 million sq ft (92,900 sq m) project has already attracted Asda, which is taking 80,000 sq ft (7,430 sq m). Other tenants include Argos, JJB Sports, Brantano, Matalan, Peacocks, Carphone Warehouse, Boots and Dorothy Perkins. Travelodge has also signed up for a 115-bedroom hotel.

Thornfield Properties chief executive Jason Marcus said: 'New Look is certainly one of the successes of the UK high street, so we're thrilled to have it on board with us. More than 80 per cent of the units are already let, which underlines the confidence retailers have in the scheme.'

Gooch Cunliffe Whale is letting agent for the scheme.
