Mothercare and Next move into Wandsworth mall
Southside, the revamped Wandsworth Arndale Centre in southwest London, will see four new openings in the run-up to Christmas.

Footfall at the mall has doubled since the mall was rebranded, refurbished and extended to 526,000 sq ft (48,865 sq m). Mothercare has taken a 5,050 sq ft (470 sq m) store at£147,500 a year; Next is fitting out a 12,500 sq ft (1,160 sq m) split-level unit; O2 is taking a 1,700 sq ft (160 sq m) unit and Snappy Snaps is taking 730 sq ft (70 sq m) of space. Meanwhile, Auntie Anne's Pretzel Place and Spur Steakhouse have boosted the catering offer.

Mark Talbot, retail director at Angermann Goddard & Loyd, joint letting agent for Southside with Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker, said: 'With the addition of Mothercare, South Mall is now fully let. We have also recently agreed terms with a major high street fashion multiple to take a large two-level store anchoring North Mall.'

Anchor tenants include Waitrose, Burton, Dorothy Perkins, HMV, Game, JD Sports, WHSmith, Clarks, H&M and boys' toys store Menkind.
