Amazon is in discussions with Transport for London (TfL) to install collection lockers for its orders in London Underground stations.
The etail giant could convert ticket offices earmarked for closure to collection points, according to the Financial Times.
TfL yesterday revealed it is to close 240 ticket offices across the underground network with a net loss of 750 jobs.
TfL said it would speak to retailers about use of the vacated space and confirmed it is in talks with Amazon.
The underground will become a 24-hour operation at the weekend from 2015 when all-night operations begin across the Victoria, Central, Jubilee and Northern lines.
The move comes after Asda revealed on Wednesday it is to open click-and-collect points in the car parks of six London underground stations as it targets commuters.
