Luxury accessories retailer Mulberry has appointed Roger Mather as chief financial officer.

Mather succeeds Guy Rutherford, who will leave the retailer at the end of December, as announced in August.

Mather has spent the past 10 years working for Otto Group in the UK and Hong Kong.

Godfrey Davis, chairman and chief executive of AIM-listed Mulberry, said: "We are delighted to welcome Roger to Mulberry. His blue-chip financial pedigree and broad commercial experience will mean he is ideally qualified to drive through the change agenda Mulberry has initiated to build upon the successes of the past few years.”
