Retailer doubles the amount of strollers available online
Mothercare has doubed the number of pushchairs it sells online, giving it the biggest pushchair range in the UK.

The baby and maternitywear chain said: 'With more than 250 pushchairs, the benefits to Mothercare customers are huge.'

Last month, Mothercare revealed it is to buy Chelsea Stores Holdings, which owns Early Learning Centre, in a deal worth£85 million. The deal has given the baby specialist a combined 435 UK stores and 420 international franchise outlets.

Mothercare said early last month that like-for-likes at UK stores slid 0.3 per cent in the 11 weeks to March 31, as it battled against a tough retail environment. However, Direct in Home sales, including online and catalogue, were up 11 per cent in the fourth quarter and rose 15 per cent for the year.
