Star model loses big contracts
Supermodel Kate Moss has been dropped from three high-profile ad campaigns, including retailers H&M, Burberry and fashion house Chanel.

Burberry became the latest firm to axe Moss (pictured), following the lead of H&M, which axed the star earlier this week. H&M said its relationship with the supermodel was 'inconsistent with its clear dissociation of drugs'. The retailer has a long-standing relationship with the drug prevention organisation Mentor Foundation.

Chanel has announced it has no plans to use Moss again in the near future and Burberry has cancelled an upcoming campaign. Burberry explained that both the company and Moss had 'mutually agreed that it is inappropriate to go ahead'.

Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Ian Blair said yesterday: 'We have to look at the impact that this kind of behaviour has on impressionable young people.'
