Coast sales soar
Mosaic, owner of the Coast, Oasis, Karen Millen and Whistles brands, has posted EBITDA of£59.2 million, an increase of 14 per cent on last year.

All brands delivered sales growth for the year to January 28. Occasionwear specialist Coast was the group's star performer, with sales up 41 per cent.

Oasis sales were up 11 per cent, however, in a statement the group said trading was affected by cold weather and a late Easter.

Low double-digit growth is expected for the year to January next year, despite a slow start to the financial year across the group.

The fashion group is owned by Icelandic investment company Baugur and listed in Reykjavik.

During the year 19 stores and 60 concessions opened in the UK and mainland Europe. Mosaic operates 242 stores, 391 concessions and 105 franchises.
