More Original Shoe Company and Qube stores have been closed by their administrators with the loss of 121 jobs.

Eight Original Shoe Company stores and two Qube shoe stores were closed as the administrator KPMG has still not found a buyer for the businesses.

The chains, which made up JJB Sports' lifestyle division, were put into administration last month and have already closed 37 stores.

JJB this week has had a standstill agreement extended with its banks pending the sale of its gyms business, which is expected to be sold to JJB founder Dave Whelan.
