Value fashion retailer MK One has once again fallen into administration.

Leonard Curtis was yesterday appointed as administrator to the store group, which was already put into administration earlier this year by Hilco.

Hilco bought MK One from Icelandic investor Baugur for£1 in May and put the chain into administration. It was then bought by original founder Mark Brafman together with supplier Bali Singh. Brafman subsequently left the business.

Following Brafman's departure the retailer said: “Mr Singh has secured funding to ensure the long-term future of the organisation, with the conditional removal of Mr Brafman from the Mark One management team. Mr Singh is currently working through the appointment of a new management board for the organisation.”
