Miffy makes comeback

Miffy, the cartoon bunny created in the 1950s, has made a comeback with the launch of a clothing range at childrenswear retailer Adams. It is the biggest range the retailer has marketed with a licensed cartoon character. Adams hopes the image will jump out at shopping mothers, who will remember the bunny from their own childhood, while appealing to girls aged nine-months to four years. The nine-piece autumn/winter Miffy range has been launched in 100 of Adams' largest UK stores. Head of strategic marketing Amanda Campbell said mothers who shopped at Adams wanted more variety. 'This is just about adding more choice to the clothing offer. The cute graphics will be a hit with toddler girls,' she said.
