Key addition to retailer's Chinese strategy
Furniture retailer MFI has drafted in Hong Kong-based businessman Paul Cheng as a non-executive director.

His experience is expected to help MFI take advantage of sourcing opportunities in China, which is rapidly liberalising and opening up to Western business.

Cheng, an advisor of Deutsche Bank and formerly a member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council, is also chairman of The Link Management Limited, which manages shopping malls in Hong Kong.
