Marks and Spencer are attempting to rebrand the infamous Brussels sprout with a series of new products including smoothies.

The Brussels sprout is not the most popular vegetable in the patch – or even on the Christmas dinner plate – but M&S aims to change its image this winter with a new range of snacks.

How does an apple, pear and Brussels sprout smoothie sound?

Or what about a sprout-based coleslaw?

And M&S hasn’t stopped there.

It plans to sell a Christmas dinner on a stick – which will make a change from the dining table.
