M&S Vintage will make up a third of Blue Harbour

Marks & Spencer has forecast that its Abercrombie & Fitch-style Blue Harbour Vintage range will boost Blue Harbour sales overall and account for a third of the brand's sales.

According to M&S, Blue Harbour is the biggest-selling men's casualwear brand in the UK.

Acting head of menswear Andrew Skinner described the sub-brand as 'between Blue Harbour and Abercrombie'. He said: 'We are confident it will deliver a third of Blue Harbour sales.'

Meanwhile, M&S will be making significant modifications to its lingerie collection next year, potentially including new ranges and changing the way the offer is communicated to customers.

Head of lingerie Jack Paterson said the changes will take effect in the middle of next year, following interviews with 1,000 customers, which are expected to be completed by Christmas.

M&S is the biggest lingerie retailer in the UK, with a 26.7 per cent share of the market, and has been increasing share by approximately 1 per cent a year.
