Edgware Road store will replace full brand name
Marks & Spencer is to trial dropping its full brand name from the front of its stores and replacing it with the abbreviated Your M&S logo.

The high street retailer has been testing the new fascia in its Edgware Road store, close to the company's headquarters, for two months. A spokeswoman said: 'It is just a one store trial, we'll take a view on it before we make any decisions.'

The Your M&S logo was introduced when Stuart Rose took over as chief executive of the group in 2004. It has since been used in Marks & Spencer's hugely successful advertising campaigns.

The logo also appears on carrier bags, in-store signs and window displays in Marks & Spencer's 400-plus stores, located throughout the UK.
