Madonna’s clothing line Material Girl will be available in the UK from September as Freemans owner Otto buys the European rights to the brand.

The German shopping group plans to launch it throughout Europe via its online fashion stores.

Iconix Europe struck the deal with German retailer Otto and their UK partners Grattan and Freemans to launch the label.

Material Girl, which is aimed at 16 to 24 year-olds, is currently only available in the US through department store Macy’s.

The range is co-designed by Madonna’s daughter Lourdes, and includes tops, jackets, skirts, and jeans with a rock-edge. Prices range from £15 to £100.

Oliver Klinch, Otto vice president for ladieswear and menswear told the Sunday Express: “Madonna and her daughter have created a fresh and fashionable collection. We are excited to be offering Material Girl exclusively.”

The Otto Group specialises in the retail of fashion, lifestyle and leisure products via e-commerce, catalogues and retail stores.
