Gucci sales drop as luxury retail slump continues

Gucci sales dropped by 25% year on year in the second quarter as a challenging period for the world’s high-end retailers continues.

It comes after longtime rival LVMH, which owns Louis Vuitton and Dior, posted a 4% decline in its fashion and leather goods division in the second quarter.
