Mosaic chief executive Derek Lovelock will retire as non-executive chairman of womenswear retailer Jacques Vert on November 1.

Steve Bodger, a director of Alchemy Venture Partners, Armour Group and Work Group, will take up the role on the same date.

Bodger has been a non-executive director of Jacques Vert since November 2004, as well as being chairman of a number of other companies.

Lovelock said: “I am sorry to be leaving the Jacques Vert board after five very enjoyable years. However, my other business commitments have grown to the extent that I am no longer able to devote the necessary time to the group. I am pleased to say that I leave Jacques Vert in good shape, with a strong team in place and I wish them all the very best for the future”.

Jacques Vert chief executive Paul Allen said: “On behalf of everyone at Jacques Vert, I would like to thank Derek for the tremendous contribution he has made since joining our board in 2002 and especially for his leadership as chairman over the period since the acquisition of William Baird. We have made great progress on a number of fronts and Derek has played an important part in these achievements”.
