Home shopping giant Shop Direct Group today launched Littlewoodseurope.com, targeted at customers in France, Germany, Spain and Portugal.
The site will offer over 250 fashion brands plus Littlewoods own label fashion brands. It will also offer toys, homewares and entertainment. There will be a flat delivery charge of 5 euros and products will be shipped in seven days.
The site is only in English in the first instance - although the intention is to add other languages - and Mark Newton-Jones, chief executive of Shop Direct, said the site was particularly targeted at expatriate Britons living abroad.
“This is an exciting proposition for many British families living abroad and their European neighbours,” he said.
