Krispy Kreme opens third outlet in UK at London's Canary Wharf

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, one of the most powerful brands in the US, has secured its third UK location, at Canada Place in London's Canary Wharf.

The store is strategically located at the entrance to the Jubilee line Tube station.

Krispy Kreme launched in the UK through a concession in Harrods, which has outperformed forecasts, and has taken a drive-thru unit on the A10 in Enfield, north London.

Architect Broadway Malyan is designing a range of store formats to handle the diverse trading locations. Krispy Kreme plans to open a further 23 stores over the next five years in the UK and Ireland.

Founded in 1937 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Krispy Kreme currently operates more than 370 retail locations in 44 US states, as well as Canada, Australia, the UK and Mexico.
