The site launched almost two years ago offering discounted fashion and was one of the first private sales sites in the UK.
The e-tailer said it wanted to take away barriers to buying on the site and can operate as an open sales site as it claims it has established the trust of its brands.
Koodos chief executive Miriam Lahage said: “When we started we needed to convince brands to sell with us and private sales got them more comfortable with it.”
She said the decision to change tack came as more private sales sites, including French giant Vente-Privee and News International-backed Brand Alley, launched in the UK.
“With private sales, customers often have to wait around three weeks to have their products delivered and we can do that in 48 hours,” she said.
The site is open to all shoppers, but Koodos will offer its best customers early access to its sales.
Koodos has about 150 brands on its site including Chloe, Burberry and Hugo Boss, with 3,000 different styles available across its portfolio.
It is also launching a blog site, Bargainista.co.uk, which will list and review on- and offline fashion bargains in London.
