Kong steps in as Salmon retires
DIY giant Kingfisher has revealed that it has appointed a former chair of Heathrow Airport as a non-executive director to replace Margaret Salmon who is retiring from the board after nine years.

Janis Kong worked for airports operator BAA for 33 years before retiring last year and is also a non-executive director at The Royal Bank of Scotland.

Kingfisher chairman Peter Jackson said: 'We are delighted that Janis is joining -I know we will benefit from her considerable experience, particularly in customer service, as we support the development of Kingfisher's retail businesses around the world.'
