New parent fails to lift results
Kingdom of Leather has recorded a turnover of£34.4 million for the 18 months to December 31 last year, according to Companies House.

The retailer recorded a loss on ordinary activities before taxation of£4.9 million for the 18-month period, compared with a profit of£682,000 for the year ended June 30, 2002. The period also saw the acquisition of the retailer by Italian furniture retailer Natuzzi.

In May this year, Former Claire's Accessories managing director Lyle Finlay was appointed Kingdom of Leather managing director.
