The department store chain is to unveil a new luxury womenswear concept at its Cardiff opening next Thursday.

The concept features seven distinct areas for clothing, jewellery and lingerie and will be the second-largest womenswear department in the business. John Lewis also this week relaunched its fashion website.

John Lewis, which was set to announce preliminary results as Retail Week went to press, will roll out the concept to 18 shops by autumn 2010.
