JJB Sports has appointed Chris Lee, founder of men’s lifestyle store chain Microzine, to head its new Sports Lifestyle division.
The division comprises more than 100 stores under the Original Shoe Company and Qube fascias, which it acquired in December 2007 and May this year respectively.
JJB Sports chief executive Chris Ronnie, who joined the company 10 months ago, laid out plans for the new division last month. “The lifestyle division provides a fantastic opportunity for JJB Sports and I firmly believe Chris Lee is the person to deliver the vision for us.”
